Laurie Cohen sent in this shot of her and her son Sam:

She writes: "I did the Annie Lennox thing about 2 years ago for kicks. Hard to get rid of it now, since everyone knows me this way. Perhaps a bit shocking for sources because they expect all of us WSJ'ers to be conservative Republicans. But that makes it even more fun!"

Here's some Glassers and a Kisseloff or two:

Celebrating Jared Kisseloff's college graduation, that's Wendy (nee Glasser) on the left in blue. Next to her is her son and Alan Kisseloff's son Jared, flanked on the other side by his father, Alan. Second from the right in the back row is Renee Glasser. That's Wendy's husband Les in front, and Alan's wife Nancy, also in front (it's a strange family, what can I tell you). The two youngins in front are Alan and Nancy's children, Evan and Brittany. The remaining folks are Sam and Muriel Kisseloff (parents of said Jeff and Alan) and Jared's girlfriend Val, who doesn't know what she is getting into.

Here is said Jeff, with your co-tour host Sue. I'm on the left.

This shot is from Dan Klores's 2003 documentary "The Boys of 2nd Street Park." One of the boys is Frank Bass. That's him, holding the basketball in the center of the photograph.

It's the firm of Bialystock, Bloom and Schultz! Now, look at this man.If he's not embarrassed to send in his mug shot, why should you be?

How wonderful it is to see Gari again. Here she is with Ernie and his wife Sue. Notice the empty plates and waiter behind them clearly having just been sent off in search of substitutions.

Care to guess the identity of this motley crew?

Yes, it's the Berlands. Now, let's see if I get this right, from left to right it's Pete, Bruce, Laurie and Debbie. Bruce is grinning because Pete said he only had to do 400 pushups that day. To read about what they're up to, head to our Where Are They Now Page.

Our piano man:

Alan Pollack

This is a veritable baseball team of Gurians. Find the three camp vets.

Here's the lineup. Taylor (Jeff/Julie's daughter), Julie (Jeff's wife), Josh (Jeff/Julie son), Jeff, Bill (Heidi's husband), Heidi, Sandy, Tyler (Heidi/Bill's son) - front row -Caroline (Heidi/Bill's daughter) and the Bat Mitzvah girl. Natalie (Heidi/Bill's daughter). There will be a quiz on this next week. Notice that Sandy appears to have aged about 27 minutes since camp closed.

Here's the Kolber-Grubard clan.

The person on the left is immediately recognizable as Corey Scher. His wife Lisa (Kronenberg) Scher, however, has undergone a remarkable transformation. Actually, that's not Lisa, it's Jayne Kolber's husband Cary.

The elegant dame on the right is Patti Pashutskty. The elegant gent on her arm is her husband Jody. The photo was titled Patti & Jody formal, which means, as every old time Everetteer knows, that their evening attire is no doubt accessorized by high black Converse sneakers.

Patti also sent in this photo of her progeny, Jenny and Casie, both of whom share an obvious resemblance to their uncle Steve.

On the left is Bobby Dennison. The shirt on the right is occupied by his brother Steve.

Here's Elliot Gurian and his wife Michele and Nathaniel, one of his three children. Nate, who eats his Wheaties, is 15.5.

Here's Corey Scher and Cary Grubard on a recent trip to Costa Rica.

These three hoodlums are Lisa and Corey's kids. I have never met them. Yet, I am responsible for their being brought into this world (I expect them to pay me 10 percent of any earnings, which is only fair, don't you think?). Here's why. My brother and I went to Camp Everett in 1964. We liked it. When we got back, we went around the corner and told our neighbors the Kronenbergs how much we liked it, and how much we would like it if they went there as well. Two years later, they did (It took a lot of convincing). That's how Lisa met Corey, and they fell in love and made three little ones. But do you think they ever call? This is the thanks I get. Anyway, the two women are are Ryan, and Dani. In the middle is Olver, who was apparently named for a Camp Everett play, in which his mother co-starred, leaving one to imagine that the young fellow should only be thankful the production wasn't Mary Poppins.

DANCES WITH WOLVES: Stan and Irene Wolf sent this photo of themselves with a note to Eric Schultz: It was a real pleasure hearing a voice from the past. Although we were born and raised in Brooklyn, we enjoy living here in Albuquerque (22 years) ..... Stay well, and give our regards to all the "kids" from Camp Everett, especially the handsome and brilliant Jeff Kisseloff, still the finest young man who we have ever met."

Patti Pashutsky about to put Suzi Novor in a headlock once more for old-times' sake. This was taken at what was apparently the first campeverett.com inspired reunion. This photo also constitutes the first proof that Suzi is no longer seven years old.

Jayne and Patti ca. 1971.....

and still holding onto each other 33 years later, a Guiness world record

Here's the Gurian clan over the Thanksgiving holiday in Florida:

How dare Elliot claim that I didn't show up.

After seeing the picture of my knee and my threat to upload more, Terri Stillson sent in this photo of her and her husband to ensure she didn't lose her lunch every time she checked into the site.

Here's Ron Cohen and his family, although I have no idea of the identity of the guy with the thick neck who is holding him.

I know this violates the Eleventh or Twelth Commandment of this site, which stipulates that only current photos be displayed on this page, but these two photos simply demand that they be displayed together. The top photo is not of Gidget and Moondoggie but rather Lynn Lipton and Steve Lipton in 1961. Below is the still happy couple today.

Rich Gerber decided to send "proof" that he has such a lovely family. In his accompanying note Rich wondered who all the old people were in the reunion photos. He then asks, "Can't we all be 12 years old again?" Maybe. Here's his family celebrating Rich's recent bar mitzvah. Incidentally, the Hebrew words on the wall concern news of an ancient competition and translate roughly to "Macabees defeat Assyrians in Apache Relay."

In case anyone was wondering where I have been all week, here we are at the corner of 53rd Street and Madison Avenue.

Perhaps none of us has been changed more by time than Sharon Gallub, who is now a very attractive African-American woman. That's Sharon's husband Bruce at the left.

Here's the Andrew Goldsmith-Shari Weiss family on a recent vacation.

"The Barbarians at the Gates"

Lucky for you all, Margie Zeitz sent this in just as I was about to upload my wedding pictures. This photo was taken a couple of years ago. Margie's son Ben is  at the left, next is Margie, daughter Jesse and then Margie's husband Michael. Margie writes that her family doesn't really tower over her. She's standing in a hole and is actually six feet seven inches tall.

This is the Newirth family. Clockwise from the left is Dave, then Scott,  (who only attended camp unofficially -- he was hidden in a laundry bag for eight weeks), Jill and Terry.

These aren't photos, these are postage stamps. This and the two photos that follow were taken by Carole Clarin, who assumed we all had 15/200 vision. Anyway, if you put your nose an inch or two away from your screen you'll recognize Carole (in her Everett t-shirt, which must be the only one in existence) and Rick Silverblatt in what's left of the pagoda by the lake.

These three ants (they're probably aunts, too) in clothes are Carole again, Janet Zeller, and if I said the person in the dress on the right was me, could you tell the difference? Actually, it's Judy Levy.

Somewhere in there is Rick, Carole, Janet and Judy in front of the girls' head counselor's bunk.

Here's our intrepid traveler Carole Clarin (on the far right) paying a visit on the Newirth gang, who are from left to right: Jill Newirth, Jayne Benson, Laurie Benson and Terry Newirth.

Here's Jill Johnson and Gary Karshmer on their wedding day, July 13, 2002.
Alas, they couldn't find a romantic setting for their wedding.

These two crazy kids are Esther and Rick Silverblatt. Esther was one of Everett's beloved group leaders. Here's a photo of her back then.

Dave Newirth at the mike: The girls picture was taken at another Camp in Connecticut a few miles from Winsted (of 1955 flood fame) on a family camp weekend. Thid from the left is Terry Newirth, Fourth from left is Laurie Benson, 3rd from the right is Jane Benson, 2nd from the right is Jill Newirth, and on the right is my wife Debi,  not a Camp EV alumni.

Here's Marty Kafka and family  on vacation this year in Washington State.

This fellow is Dr. Steve Gollomp, former camper and apparently one of the top doctors in Philadelphia. Steve interned at the Camp Everett infirmary, where he specialized in food poisoning and the removal of foreign objects from kids' bodies.

I'll let Dolly Wohl provide the caption of this photo taken at an Everett mini-reunion this past July. I thought I would have been invited but apparently no Jews were allowed in this one: Here's Dolly: The picture of the "girls" includes:(left to right) Teri (Newirth) Hirschorn; Carol (Toporak) Clarin; Margy (Rosen) Levin; Dolly Wohl; Sherri (Lipton) Citron.

I think Dolly has it wrong, but who am I to say.

Update: She was wrong. Here's the correct lineup: left to right: Lynn (Chasen) Lipton, Margie (Rubin) Levin, Carole (Toporek) Clarin, Dolly Wohl, and Sherry (Lipton) Citrin

Here's another photo from the reunion. The four are Rick & Katherine Silverblatt and Carol & Gerry Clarin. The men are in the middle, but I'll let Rick take it from here: Carole Clarin (Toporek), her husband Gerry, my wife Katherine and I staged a surprise "raid" at Peter Leepson's house in the Berkshires early Sunday morning, July 15th.  We drove our cars to the driveway entrance and on tip toe walked into the house. In residence were Peter's wife, Ellen (who knew we were going to do this and gave us the house key), Dolly and Jack Wohl and Gary and Sherry and Gary Citrin. Everyone was asleep in their respective bedrooms and when we entered the house, we broke the silence with a round of EV songs and "Rise and Shine and Give God your Glory Glory", etc. I had wanted to be thrown out of a building (like College Hall) by Dolly Wohl (legendary Senior Girl group leader). Dolly commented afterwards that at 8 am, this wasn't really a raid: "a raid is at 3 am".  Lot's of laughs ensued over breakfast. We may be older, but not out."

Theese kids are smiling because clearly they got off easy. When I got caught on a raid, I had to do 100 pushups with Pete Berland sitting on my back. (It was worth it though).

Ok, I don't know about you, but I'm getting sick of only seeing pictures of Rick Silverblatt and Marge Levin and Carole Clarin (oh, and the other guy is Pete Leepson). Can't anyone else have a reunion already? C'mon people, this is your Olympics.

Ok, from left to right. Forget it, why do people always go from left to right when writing captions. Since we're on the eve of Rosh Hashonah, to celebrate the occasion, we'll go from right to left. The handsome fellow in the red vest is Evan Kisseloff, son of Alan. The even more handsome fellow next to him is Jeff Kisseloff, son of Sam. (All right I confess, I am Son of Sam). Next to me is Alan Kisseloff, father of the groom Jared Kisseloff who stands on his right. In the front row in the red dress is Jared's bride, Brittany. Gotcha! Actually, if this was Mississippi that would probably be the case, but seeing that this was in Connecticut, she's just his younger sister. Now, we move into Glasser territory. There's Wendy, mother of the groom, Ellen, aunt of the groom and Renee, grandmother of the groom. A fine bunch they were until the Glasser women got drunk and began dancing on the tables.

Just in case you worried that my family wasn't there, here's my little ganglet. Note the tie, which was purchased on Carnaby Street in 1968 and remarkably still fits! I wish I could say the same for the rest of my suit.

Please send more photos, otherwise I'll keep torturing you with mine.
